The Accident and Health Working Group will work with the Society of Actuaries to develop a replacement for the 1985 NAIC Cancer Claim Cost Tables as the basis for the valuation of individual cancer policies.
The Accident and Health Working Group is working on the following Health Care Reform (PPACA) issues:
- Medical Loss Ratio
- Interim Reinsurance Program and Risk Adjustment Mechanism
- Rate Review
The Health
Reform Solvency Impact Subgroup (E) is also working on recommendations for treatment of medical loss ratios (MLR) under health care
